Finally...An update!

So - I've been trying to decide whether I should split this post up into a couple of little update posts, or just do one big one. Obviously I choose the lazy way, and just did one long, long post! Sorry to you - but here's what we've been up to lately...

West Yellowstone -

Over General Conference weekend we went up to West Yellowstone with my family and had a really great time. It's only about an hour and a half away from our house and was so nice to just get out of the burg for a couple days. We stayed at this great condo that had a really nice (but cold) pool for the kids to play in. They totally took advantage of the pool, we were there a lot! We took the kids to an IMAX show about bears, which Jocelynn wanted no part of, so her and I just hung out in the gift shop. (Silly girl likes to waste daddy's money, seeing this as a very bad omen for her teenage years...) While in West we had to drive past this town named Ashton, and couldn't pass up the photo op!
Easter Weekend:

We had a great Easter weekend. We started it off on Saturday with a fun Easter Egg hunt. The kids had fun finding eggs, and then hung out a bit with some of their friends from the ward. On Sunday they were excited to find the Easter bunny had come. Ashton woke up before the rest of us and took his pick of goodies from all of the baskets, he was disappointed that none of our cards had money in them, but excited he had some in his basket. Joc got really girly things like a bow and lipgloss and fingernail polish, and Ashton got a basketball hoop and money. They were happy and so cute dressed up in their Easter outfits.
Potty Training -

So - Joc decided that diapers are no longer her thing and has made the change to panties, with very little help from mom. She is slightly ADD while on her royal throne and tends to get distracted ALOT, the other day I left her on the potty and turned around to find her on the couch staring out the window. She heard a train, and forgot her urgent business. This little girl never ceases to amaze me, once she sets her mind to something she accomplishes it, which was definitely so nice in this case, other times, not so nice...

Silly Kiddos -
The kids are crazy, from trying to run through the sprinklers in April (I think it was a brisk 65 out) to their silly things they do to entertain themselves in the car.
